For gay men over 50 who've made it through everything and refuse to spend the next 20 years invisible, isolated, or waiting for permission to matter.
The Wisdom Trust is a podcast, community and movement where you'll find your people—men navigating the same questions about purpose, connection, desire, and what it actually takes to build a life worth living in your 60s, 70s, and beyond.
After 50, invisibility creeps in. Friends scatter. The community that once celebrated you has moved on. The apps ghost you. The scene doesn't see you. And that quiet ache of isolation becomes the default.
There's no roadmap for this. No one teaching gay men how to build a life that matters in your 60s, 70s, and beyond.
The Wisdom Trust brings you into real conversations with men navigating the same questions. You'll hear their stories, their turning points, their strategies for staying alive and connected.
More importantly, you'll find your people. Men who get it. Who refuse to age out quietly. Who are building something real in the second half of life.

Conversations about turning points, shifts and new chapters. Letting go and exploring possibility. Staying fit mentally and spiritually, and having fun.

A gathering place for men who get it. Peer support, shared wisdom, and conversations you can't have anywhere else.

For men ready to move from isolation to intention. We face what's true, reconnect with what matters, and design a next chapter that feels alive.
About Loren
I'm Loren Crawford. And I've been where you are.
For over 20 years, I taught yoga and ran a yoga studio. I guided people through purpose and transformation work. It was real, meaningful work. I had a day job with one of Canada's largest unions for 25 years, so I know about social change work. When COVID hit, the studio closed. I wasn't a great businessman. I went bankrupt. And I found myself doing what I'd spent decades helping others avoid: white-knuckling through loss alone, performing wellness instead of actually healing.
Then something cracked open.
When I stopped pretending everything was fine and started telling the truth—about aging, loss, purpose, and what I actually needed—everything shifted. I found my people. I rebuilt my life. And I felt, for the first time in years, like I was becoming someone I actually recognized.
That's the moment I'm talking about. The awakening that happens when you stop surviving and start living.
In recent years, I've turned that same lens toward men—specifically gay men navigating the second half of life. This is the work I was always moving toward. And if you're reading this, it's for you. Let's create a movement. Let's change the narrative an aging in the gay community.
